Guy Tortora is a US born singer/songwriter/guitarist with a reputation for subtle, distinctive musicianship. His upbringing in California has imbued his music with special influences from the laid-back years of the acoustic blues, folk and jazz scene which continues to influence his style today. He has a unique niche position on the Blues and Roots circuit, playing regularly in clubs and festivals in the UK and Europe both solo and with his four-piece band of British and European musicians. He has played and recorded with many of the great names such as Eric Clapton, John Cleary and Eric Bibb amongst others. His talented yet understated style of fingerpicking and bottleneck / slide guitar have justly earned him a reputation as a fine musician.
The band plays both traditional blues and roots material and his own
songs - this will be a great gig for fans of the blues and Americana alike.
