The Stag cinema had a new projector fitted this week, a task long overdue as the old projector reached the end of its lifespan last year. Both cinema screens here are fully digital and extremely complex. As with anything else in the technological world, each generation of projector is vastly better than the last, and we look forward to sharing a much improved visual experience with you.

The projector has come at significant cost however – some £40,000 – which has been a challenge to generate for the Stag, a registered charity and not-for-profit organisation. The Stag relies on generous donations, from both businesses and individuals, to replace equipment and improve facilities for the community. We’d be very pleased to hear from you if you feel you could contribute towards keeping the arts alive in Sevenoaks.
